El primer serious game en Facebook, el juego se llama EnerCities. Creado por Paladin Studios y financiado por la Agencia de Energía de la Comisión Europea, tiene como objetivo crear conciencia del problema mundial de la energía entre los jóvenes a través del juego. Aunque fue originalmente diseñado para un sitio web, posteriormente se ha integrado en Facebook para aprovechar la “viralidad” de esta red social, si no estás en Facebook podrás jugar también aquí http://www.enercities.eu/.
El juego consiste en gestionar una ciudad virtual e intentar encontrar el equilibrio perfecto entre economía, medio ambiente y el bienestar de sus ciudadanos. La ciudad comienza siendo pequeña y tendrás que hacerla crecer desarrollando estructuras industriales y áreas residenciales, si se hace bien, el nivel de la ciudad aumentará, la ciudad crecerá y la complejidad del juego será cada vez mayor.
Podrás optar por utilizar industrias contaminantes y fuentes de energía fósiles para desarrollar tu ciudad, crecerás rápidamente pero con un alto coste, destrozarás el medio ambiente y agotarás los recursos naturales. Tú decides!

60 Second Recap provides book summaries in sixty second video segments. There is a sixty second summary of each chapter of each book. Along with the chapter summaries there is a general overview of each book.
60 Second Recap offers registered users the option to record a video response to each video summary. The service is new, but the concept has the potential to be a good way for users to extend the summaries found on 60 Second Recap. If you don’t have access to a web cam, you can record a simple text response.
